Smart Solar has teamed up with Kroger's Ohio Region to create a solar path light for Breast Cancer Awareness month later this year. A promotional light, it is a similar style to those usually found in stores at an opening price point. This special edition features four pink ribbons around the top of the light and automatically illuminates a distinct pink LED in the evening letting everyone know you are supporting this most worthwhile cause by helping to "Shed the Light on the Fight."
Jackie Waller of Smart Solar adds "It seems these days everyone knows someone whose life has been affected in one way or another by cancer. We are very proud to play our small role in making these lights available for sale with Kroger to help raise both extra awareness and funds for breast cancer research."
The special edition pink solar lights will retail for $2.99 each and can be found in Kroger Ohio region stores in October. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of each light will go towards breast cancer research.
